1. How is the real experience if i am an expert skier or rider?
If you have experience skiing or snowboarding in different parts of the world, The Andes won´t disappoint you at all, Central Andes Mountain offers high mountain skiing commonly with plenty of snow and with very goog chances of good weather conditions, Sothern Andes offer the experience to ski volcanos always with excelent facilities to make trhe ski area work. We can make assesment on what a rider or skier is looking for on a special trip based on fun or ecologic pourpouse.

2. Chances of good weather conditions?
At the Andes, chances of sunny days with lots of snow goes on 70% of the days, Central Andes Mountains present 80% of the days free of clouds because of short and intensive snowstorms at this andean area, at southern Andes we have an average of 60% of the days sunny and with lots of snow, on the other 40% snowstorms can last longer what seems perfect for a hotspring bath after a day of snowboarding or skiing.
All this under a normal year of precipitations, weather is unpredictible and coments are based on statics.

3. Does Chilean Snow organize special trips for olimpique teams and ski clubs?
We have special packages depending on Olimpique teams and ski clubs special needs, we give special treatments to special requires on this groups of passengers.

4. What kind of clothes should i take for a skiing vacations?
Skiing and snowboarding take place in the outdoors on snow. Bring clothes that are waterproof or at least water resistant. Jeans are not the best choice for an outer layer.
Always dress in layers so you can add or remove as the day progresses. The gloves you wear should also be waterproof or water resistant. Since we lose up to 20% of our heat through our head, a hat will help keep you warm.
For your feet, one pair of thin socks is all that is needed - too many socks will restrict circulation and affect boot fit. Wool or acrylic socks are better than cotton athletic socks, but make sure the socks are long so they will extend up above your ski boot. Ski and snowboard boots are made with insulation and will keep your feet warm.

5. Anything else I should bring?
Don't forget sunglasses, lipbalm and sunscreen. The sun is very strong at high altitudes and reflects off a snow-white background, For this reason goggles are strongly recommended when skiing and snowboarding.
